This TRD suspension lift kit raises the Tacoma approximately 2 inches in the front and 1 inch in the rear, improving ground clearance, approach angles, and tire-to-body clearance while keeping the truck’s factory driving characteristics intact. The kit uses TRD-tuned monotube shocks co-developed with Bilstein, featuring enlarged pistons and increased oil capacity for better heat control, improved damping response, and more stability on uneven surfaces. These shocks deliver tighter body control on-road and more composed suspension movement off-road compared with standard Tacoma dampers.
The front lift is achieved through precision-machined strut spacers designed to maintain correct strut alignment and upper control arm clearance after lifting. The rear height increase uses extended shackles and properly matched shock extensions that preserve full suspension travel and avoid overstressing the factory leaf springs. All components integrate directly with the Tacoma’s suspension architecture, maintaining compatibility with Toyota Safety Sense sensors, ABS routing, and factory alignment specifications when installed properly.
